AP to emerge as most liveable state:CM

Mumbai, Aug 27: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu appealed to Tata Group to extend cooperation in production of electrical vehicles to promote green mobility by introducing e buses in Amaravati capital. He sought their cooperation in development of industrial park in capital region and introduction of Vistara air services from Vijayawada, starting star bucks at Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada, technology sharing for creating best eco system in capital region.

Interacting with Ratan Tata and officials of Tata group at  Tata Experience centre here, the Chief Minister said the first international flight from Vijayawada to Singapore would be operated on October 2.

The Tata group officials said that they are working on electrical vehicles in 9 cities at present. An electrical car would be released in 2 months. The Chief Minister sought cooperation of the group in developing solar energy.

The Chief Minister invited the group to invest in hotel industry including resorts in AP, which has a vast potential for tourism promotion. Stating that vast opportunities and picturesque places at sea coasts are available to set up hotels, the Chief Minister said he want to develop one lakh rooms by promoting hotel industry. He said there is vast opportunity to develop village tourism.

Earlier the Chief Minister went round the museum. The officials explained on the origin of Tata group and their social empowerment programmes including women empowerment programmes.

The Chief Minister invited the Tata Group to visit AP along with proposals of investment and  said that he would form a committee to coordinate with them.

The Chief Minister said that he want to develop AP as most liveable state.
