Amaravathi : Vishnu Kumar Raju, a senior BJP leader and MLA, has attacked severely his own party saying no party will come forward to stitch an alliance with BJP in the present scenario. Speaking to media on Thursday he asked the reporters whether there is any party which may come forward to have relationship with the BJP.
Responding to a question posed by the journalists, Vishnu Kumar Raju countered with this question. He didn’t respond to the direct question whether he will contest the assembly elections on behalf of BJP. “I’ll tell you about this after the Election Notification issued. If I tell you in which party I am going to join now, there won’t be sufficient media coverage” he told the reporters Vishnu Kumar Raju opined that the Andhra Pradesh Governments latest welfare schemes like hike in pensions for senior citizens, artists and Financial assistance for DWCRA women are going to give benefits for Telugu Desam Party. If one gives money definitely gets positive response, he added. He noted that if CM Chandra Babu Naidu hadn’t taken decisions like these, his party’s situation might be different, Vishnu Kumar Raju said.
