“Vivekananda Bal Vikas camp” was inaugurated on 16th June 2019 at Sri Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad. It was another big and remarkable day in Vivekananda Institute of Human excellence, since the day marked the beginning of the course, the classes of which will be conducted on every Sunday for 8 months for school children.
The chief guest of the day was justice A. Rajasekhar Reddy of High Court Telangana.The proceedings of the session began with the chanting of vedic mantras. In the presence of the enthusiastic audience Bodhmayanand Maharaj, the director of VIHE gave a welcome address, in which he referred to the Math as a place which would impart value-based and character building education to the youngsters. Gnandanandanand Maharaj the Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math explained in his brief speech how every child possesses’ Medha Shakti ‘and the role of the elders in bringing out the Medha Shakti to light. The justice A. Rajashekar Reddy proudly said in his speech that he has been in asociation with Ramakrishna Math for many years being a resident of Hyderabad. He admired the services rendered by the Math in giving spiritual knowledge to people of all ages. After the chief guest’s speech some students and parents gave out feed back.
Believing in “Vriksho Rakshati Rakshitaha” the Math donated saplings to all the students and Bodhmayanand Maharaj expressed his hope that children would water the saplings and help them to grow into healthy trees. The chief guest was given books on works of Swami Vivekananda.
