Former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley Admitted to AIIMS

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and former finance minister Arun Jaitley was admitted to AIIMS in New Delhi. Jaitley was taken to hospital on Friday morning after he complained about chest congestion, restlessness and breathing problem. Prime minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister and BJP president Amit Shah, Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla visited the hospital to inquire about Jaitley’s health.


Jaitley had undergone kidney transplant on May 14 last year at AIMS. Jaitley has been suffering from unhealthy from last two years. So, he didn’t contest in 2019 elections. He written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi asking to keep him away from all responsibilities as he is not well.
