Businessman flees Hyd hotel without paying Rs. 12.34L bill

Hyderabad: A businessman from Andhra Pradesh allegedly fled from Taj Banjara hotel in Hyderabad without paying the bill of Rs. 12.34L. He had stayed in the hotel for 102 days. So, the hotel manager approached the police and given a complaint. He has said that the accused, Shankar Narayana, had a pending bill of Rs. 12.34 lakh.


According to the police complaint, Shankar left the hotel on April 15th without intimating to anyone. He had made an agreement with the hotel management for luxury suite at a discount rate for long time. The total bill came to Rs. 25.96 lakh. Out of this he paid Rs. 13.62 lakh only. After he disappeared, the hotel management has called him several times, he kept giving assurances that he will pay the remaining bill. Now his phone is switched off, said Banjara hills sub inspector Ravi. Police are investigating the case.
