Inauguration of Ventilator by Sushena and Sewa Intl.

As part of their vision to Serve Humanity, Make Healthcare affordable and accessible, four NGOS Sushena Health Foundation, SAKSHAM, Sewa International and Sewa USA have come forward and facilitated donation of Drager Ventilator to Paramitha Children’s Hospital, Kothapet on 9th December 2021 at 4PM.

Dr Santhosh Kumar Kraleti, Founder Director Dhaatri Mothers Milk Bank and General Secretary informed that Sushena Health Foundation is an Hyderabad based NGO formed by a team of passionate Doctors who are Healthcare specialists, Pediatrics, Neonatologists and passionate about saving Maximum lives possible by taking up cost effective Healthcare interventions.
Dr Santosh Kumar Kraleti, who is also a public health specialist said, by saving children we are saving our nation and it’s future. He also mentioned that to support preterm survival ventilators and 2D Echo machines are being deployed in Niloufer Hospital and Paramitha Hospital. Currently SUSHENA runs Milk Banks at Niloufet and at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad and two more in Bhopal and Indore. Two more Mother’s Milk banks are coming up at Kakinada and Lucknow.

SAKSHAM and SUSHENA have also facilitated other equipments like Ventilators, 2D Echo Machines, Oxygen Plants, Defibrilators, X Ray and ECG Machines, beside Covid Care Kits, PPE Kits, Sanitizers, Ration Kits, and the like in Hospitals and Communities. He said that the prime objective of setting up the ventilator is to increasing infrastructure in India to deal with Corona 19 and it’s variants and to save maximum lives possible.

Speaking on the Occasion Shri Anil ji, Indian representative Sewa Intranational and Sewa USA informed that we are Not-For-Profits spread over many countries with Indian expatriate population. We have taken up the cause of strengthening the medical infrastructure in the wake of Covid 19 pandemic and we are sure that by supporting the installation of Oxygen plants across India in various hospitals, we shall be able to save many lives.

Pediatrician Dr Srinivas Murki, Director Paramitha Children’s Hospital informed that Paramitha Children’s Hospital is a leading children’s hospital serving the neonates in Hyderabad and outside. As part of it’s commitment to society, it has dedicated a few of it’s resources to serve the underprivileged children of the society. Thanking Sushena Health Foundation, SAKSHAM, Sewa Intl and Sewa USA he commented that this ventilator will go a long way in saving the lives of children during Covid times and even otherwise.

Kasinadh Lakkaraju, Director, Dhaatri Milk Bank informed that Sick or premature babies are often not able to breathe well enough on their own. They may need help from a ventilator to provide “good air” (oxygen) to the lungs and to remove “bad” exhaled air (carbon dioxide). Addressing Paramitha Hospital, Sewa Intl and Sewa Usa he expressed his gratitude for facilitating the ventilator which is the only means to provide breathing support for ill or immature babies.

Sridhar Reddy Ji, Social Worker from Seva Bharathi and Dr Dhanraj and Dr Bhaskar, Director and Founder of Paramitha Hospitals who were present on the occasion congratulated all the stakeholders on their commitment to the society.
