The Supreme Court said it would pass an order on Tuesday on the question of holding a floor test in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

Supreme Court decided to conduct the floor test on 27th of this month before 5 p.m.the evening by the speaker. The floor test is going to be live on TV channels.

In the recent elections, BJP won 105 seats, shivsena-56, NCP-54 and Congress-44.
A party needs a majority of 145 seats in Maharashtra to form a government.

But none of the parties could achieve it. BJP, shivsena together as one alliance and Congress NCP as one alliance contested in elections. After the results, shivsena joined hands with Congress and NCP leaving BJP.
BJP met Ajit Pawar.soon after that Devendra fadnavis, Ajit Pawar administered oath as chief minister and deputy chief minister. Congress NCP and shivsena were against this and reached the Supreme court.
Supreme court decided to give its verdict on 27th.

“Today’s verdict of the SC is a milestone in Indian democracy. Before 5.p.m. tomorrow, it will be clear that BJP’s game is over. In a few days, there will be a government of Shivsena-NCP-Congress in Malik”: Nawab Malik.
